Ingredients

  • 1 (17 ounce.) can sm. English peas, liquid removed
  • 1 (17 ounce.) can shoe peg corn, liquid removed
  • 1 (3 ounce.) jar minced pimento
  • 1 c. finely minced green pepper
  • 1 c. finely minced onion
  • 1 c. finely minced celery
  • 1/2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese

Directions

  1. Combine and mix salad ingredients in large container. Combine syrup ingredients in saucepan. Bring to boil, remove from heat and let cold. Pour syrup over salad, mix well, chill and serve. Serves 10.
