Seafood Fritters

Ingredients

  • 8 ounce. seafood
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 c. beer or possibly water
  • 1 c. biscuit mix (all-purpose)
  • 2 tbsp. lemon juice
  • 1/8 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon parsley flakes
  • 6 drops Worcestershire sauce
  • Oil for frying

Directions

  1. Crab meat, lobster, or possibly 2 cans clams (chopped), shrimp.
  2. Beat egg with beer or possibly water; stir in biscuit mix. Add in seasonings and seafood (remove cartilage from crabmeat or possibly lobster); mix gently.
  3. In heavy skillet or possibly fryalator heat several inches of oil to 375 degrees. Drop batter into warm oil, approximately 2 Tbsp. per fritter. Fry till golden.
  4. Drain on absorbent paper. Makes 12 fritters. Can be reheated in 375 degree oven 5-8 min.
