Ingredients

  • 1 pound Country sausage (Owens or possibly Jimmy Deans)
  • 1/4 c. minced green pepper
  • 1/2 c. minced celery
  • 1 lg. onion, minced
  • 2 1/2 c. boiling water
  • 2 pkg. chicken noodle soup, dry mix
  • 1 c. uncooked instant rice
  • 12 ounce. can mushrooms, liquid removed

Directions

  1. Brown sausage, pepper, celery and onion together in a skillet. Drain. Combine remaining ingredients, add in the meat mix and bake in a greased casserole dish at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Serves 8.
