Ingredients

  • 16 slices bread, crusts removed
  • 1/2 c. mayonnaise
  • 4 green onions, minced or possibly 1/2 onion, minced
  • 2 1/2 c. lowfat milk
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup or possibly celery soup
  • 1 c. minced celery
  • Salt & pepper
  • 1/2 pound grated cheese
  • 4 Large eggs
  • 3 c. diced ham, chicken or possibly turkey

Directions

  1. Butter 9"x13" pan well; line with 6 to 8 slices of bread. Mix meat, mayonnaise, onion, celery and half of cheese and spread on top of bread. Cover with 6 to 8 slices of bread. Beat Large eggs; add in lowfat milk, salt and pepper to taste. Pour over bread and let stand overnight in refrigerator, covered with foil.
