Rudies' Broccoli Rice Casserole

Ingredients

  • 1 (10 ounce.) pkg. frzn minced broccoli
  • 1/2 c. minced onion
  • 1/2 c. minced celery
  • 1 teaspoon butter
  • 1 c. grated American cheese
  • 1 (10 3/4 ounce.) can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 1/2 c. cooked rice
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 tbsp. bread crumbs

Directions

  1. Cook broccoli according to package directions and drain well. Saute/fry onions and celery in butter. Mix broccoli, soup and cheese. Add in to celery and onions. Stir in rice, salt and pepper. Pour into a 1 1/2 qt casserole. Top with bread crumbs and bake in 350 degree oven for 45 min.
