Pork Steaks

Yummy simmered steaks that are tender and flavorful. Using the sauce as a reduction and making a tasty gravy to go with the steaks for rice or potatoes.

Ingredients

  • 1/4 c butter
  • 1/4 c soy sauce
  • 1 small bunch green onion
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 4 - 6 pork steaks

Directions

  1. Place butter in pan to melt
  2. Mince garlic, add to pan to brown slightly
  3. Add soy sauce and simmer for 2 minutes over medium heat
  4. Place steaks into sauce and simmer for 4-6 minutes per side
  5. Remove steaks at the end of cooking time or when reached proper temp of 160 internal
  6. Add cornstarch to drippings and blend
  7. Serve over rice or potatoes with steaks
