Perfect Fish Balls

Ingredients

  • 3 med.-sized potatoes
  • 1 c. flaked codfish, cooked
  • 1 tbsp. butter
  • Pepper to season
  • 1 egg

Directions

  1. Peel and cut up potatoes and cook till tender - drain and mash very thoroughly, add in butter, pepper and egg and beat till light and fluffy. Dorp by Tbsp. into deep warm fat (375-390 degrees) and fry golden. (Dipping spoon into oil keeps mix from sticking to spoon). Drain and serve. Serves 4.
