Ingredients

  • 1 c. butter, softened
  • 1 c. confectioners' sugar
  • 1 tbsp. vinegar
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon ginger
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 teaspoon soda
  • 2 1/4 c. flour

Directions

  1. Heat oven to 400 degrees. Mix thoroughly butter, sugar and vinegar. Blend in remaining ingredients. (If dough is too stiff work in lowfat milk 1 teaspoon at a time.) Roll dough 1/8 inch thick on lightly floured surface. Cut into desired shapes. Place on ungreased cookie sheets. Bake 6-8 min. Cold slightly and remove from baking sheets. Makes 4 dozen 3 inch cookies.
