Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 lb Pears (still green and hard)
  • 1 x Orange
  • 1 x Lemon
  • 3/4 c. Liquid removed crushed pineapple
  • 5 1/2 c. Sugar

Directions

  1. Peal and core pears. Mix pears, orange and lemon (include rinds of citrus)
  2. in Cuisinart, till coarsely mixed. Put into pot, add in pineapple and sugar.
  3. Stir well, and bring to boil. Lower heat. Cook 20 min, stirring occasionally. Pour into warm sterlized jars. Seal, and turn upside down for 5 min. Turn upright and cold.
  4. Makes 9 six oz jars.
