Ingredients

  • 1 3/4 c. Boiling Water
  • 1 c. Quick-Cooking Oats
  • 1/2 c. Butter
  • 1 c. Light Brown Sugar
  • 1 c. Sugar
  • 1 tsp Vanilla
  • 2 x Large eggs
  • 1 1/2 c. Unsifted Flour
  • 1 tsp Baking Soda
  • 1/2 tsp Baking Pwdr
  • 1/4 tsp Cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp Salt
  • 5 x Reece's Peanut Butter C., 0.6-Ounce Size
  • 3 Tbsp. Butter
  • 3 ounce Unsweetened Chocolate
  • 3 c. Confectioner's Sugar
  • 1/4 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 c. Lowfat milk
  • 1 tsp Vanilla

Directions

  1. Combine water and oats; cold to room temperature. Cream butter, brown sugar, sugar and vanilla; beat in Large eggs. Blend in oatmeals mix. Combine flour, baking soda, baking pwdr, cinnamon and salt. Add in to creamed mix.
  2. Beat 1 minute on medium speed. Pour batter into a greased and floured 13x9 pan. Chop peanut butter c. and sprinkloe on top of batter (Don't STIR).
  3. Bake at 350 degrees 40-45 min.
  4. Frosting: heat butter. Add in chocolate and stir constantly over low heat till melted. Pour into a bowl and add in remaining ingredients; beat till well blended. Refrigerateto spreading consistency and frost cake.
