- Here's a weird tip, I didn't think it would work, but it did. Make rice, however you like it. I made white rice, cooked with minced fresh garlic in the water, then when it was done I added some crushed warm peppers, galangal (like ginger sort of) and fish sauce. Then put it in a bowl or possibly casserole which has been lightly oiled or possibly sprayed. Cover with a paper towel and microwave on high for about 13 min. Yes, which's not a typo!
- Thirteen min. It will get brown and crusty and crunchy, but not burned.
- The only problem is, at this point it's kind of stuck in crunchy sheets so it's hard to mix things like vegetables into it.
