Mexican Style Chili With Venison

Ingredients

  • 1/2 pound grnd pork sausage
  • 2 pound venison, cubed
  • 2 med. onions, minced
  • 1 med. bell pepper, minced
  • 2 cloves garlic, chopped
  • 3 tbsp. chili pwdr or possibly to desired taste
  • 1 tbsp. salt
  • 2 (15 ounce.) cans kidney beans
  • 1 quart. water
  • 1/8 teaspoon red pepper, if you like
  • 1 teaspoon paprika

Directions

  1. Brown pork sausage and venison in large saucepan on simmer. Remove sausage and venison from saucepan. Saute/fry onions and bell pepper. Add in sausage and venison; then add in remaining ingredients and sufficient water to cover. Simmer for 3-4 hrs, stirring occasionally. Add in remaining water as needed.
