Ingredients

  • 3 lbs. grnd beef
  • 3 ounce taco sauce
  • 12 single saltine crackers (crumbled)
  • 1 med. diced onion
  • 1 pkg. Lipton onion soup mix
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 T chili pwdr
  • 8 ounce thick and chunky salsa
  • 6 ounce lowfat sour cream
  • 5 ounce shredded Cheddar cheese

Directions

  1. Mix all ingredients except for 8 ounce salsa, lowfat sour cream and cheese. Shape into loaf, place into baking dish. Put 3 T salsa on top of loaf. Bake 45 min at 350 degrees. Drain off grease. Smooth rest of salsa over top of loaf, put lowfat sour cream on top of salsa, put cheese on top of lowfat sour cream. Bake an additional 20 min.
