Ingredients

  • 2 Tbl flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • 2 1/2 cups milk
  • 2 Tbs margarine
  • 8 oz sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1 3/4 cup elbow macaroni (cook 6 minutes then drain)

Directions

  1. Place cooked macaroni into greased rectangular baking dish
  2. in a pan melt butter
  3. combine flour and salt, stir into butter
  4. add milk stirring constantly over medium heat until boiling
  5. Boil 1 minute remove from heat
  6. stir cheese into macaroni
  7. add milk pan and stir together
  8. Bake uncovered 375 for 25 minutes until bubbly
