Kelly's Icebox Pie Crust with Nuts

Great crust for refrigerator pies. It's so good, I could eat it by itself, it being a type of shortbread.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup AP flour
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts (pecans or walnuts are great)
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • optional: 2 tbs. sugar

Directions

  1. Heat oven to 350 F.
  2. Mix the crust ingredients together, press into the bottom and sides of a 9 inch pie plate.
  3. Bake 30 minutes.
  4. Let cool before filling.
