Ingredients

  • 3/4 c. vinegar
  • 1/4 c. water
  • 1 1/2 tsp celery salt
  • 4 1/2 tsp sugar
  • 1/8 tsp grnd red pepper
  • 1/8 tsp black pepper
  • 2 lrg tomatoes, cut into 1/4- to 1/8 inch slices
  • 1 x green bell pepper, sliced thin
  • 1 x red onion, sliced thin

Directions

  1. In small saucepan, combine first 6 ingredients. Bring to boil and cook for 1 minute.
  2. Layer sliced vegetables in glass dish. Pour warm liquid over vegetables. Refrigerateand serve.
