Ingredients

  • 1 lb Italian sausage links
  • 2 c. Rice, uncooked long grain
  • 1 med Onion, minced
  • 1 sm Red pepper, minced
  • 1 sm Green pepper, minced Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 c. Water or possibly broth
  • 2 tsp Extra virgin olive oil

Directions

  1. Cut sausage links into one inch pcs. Brown in skillet. Add in extra virgin olive oil and rice. Stir till all rice is coated with the color of the sausage drippings. Add in water and stir in other ingredients. Cover and simmer over medium heat till the rice is the desired doneness.
  2. Serving Ideas : This makes a great one dis meal, or possibly a great main dish.
