Ingredients

  • For the Lemon Curd:
  • 3 medium Meyer Lemons
  • 2 eggs
  • ½ cup sugar
  • 1 stick unsalted butter, cut into pieces
  • For the Macarons:
  • 220 g almond meal
  • 400 g powdered sugar
  • 200 g egg whites (5-6 eggs), at room temperature
  • 100 g sugar
  • 1-2 drops yellow food coloring
  • For the Lavender Buttercream:
  • 1 stick unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • ½ tsp lavender extract
  • 1-2 tbsp milk, cream or half-and-half
  • 2 drops pink food coloring
  • 1 drop blue food coloring
