Holiday Chocolate Pie

Ingredients

  • 2 square unsweetened chocolate
  • 3 tbsp. butter
  • 3/4 c. sugar
  • 1 c. Light Corn Syrup
  • 3 Large eggs, slightly beaten
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 c. coarsely minced pecans
  • 1 unbaked pie shell

Directions

  1. Heat chocolate and butter over warm water. Combine sugar and syrup. Bring to boil over high heat, stirring until sugar dissolves. Boil 2 min. Add in chocolate mix. Pour slowly over Large eggs, stirring constantly. Add in vanilla and nuts. Mix well. Pour into unbaked pie shell. Bake at 375 for 45-50 min or possibly till filling is puffed completely across top. Cold-may be topped with whipped cream.
