Ingredients

  • 1 loaf French bread
  • 1 pkg. sliced Swiss cheese
  • 1/2 c. butter, softened
  • 1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
  • 1 tbsp. chopped onion
  • 2 slices bacon

Directions

  1. Cut the French bread in to 1 inch slices. Cut cheese slices in half, then cut each half diagonally. Put the cheese pcs between the slices of the bread. Make a foil boat for the bread; wrap tightly around the bottom of bread. Mix the butter, dry mustard and onion together and spread over the top of the bread. Bake at 400 degrees for 8 to 10 min or possibly till bacon is crisp. Serve immediately.
