Ingredients

  • 2 cornish hens (about 1 1/2 pound each)
  • Grnd pepper, optional
  • Stuffing, optional
  • 2 Packages butter buds
  • 1/2 c. water
  • 1/4 c. dry white wine
  • 2 tbsp. fresh lemon juice
  • 2 teaspoon tarragon
  • 3 cloves garlic, chopped

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Season hens with pepper. You may stuff the hens with dressing if you wish. In a separate bowl, combine remaining ingredients and pour over hens in roaster. Bake for 1 1/2 hrs or possibly till tender. Baste occasionally with the sauce.
