Ingredients

  • 1 can beets
  • 1/2 tbsp. cornstarch
  • 1 1/2 tbsp. vinegar
  • 1 1/2 tbsp. sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 tbsp. butter
  • 1/4 c. beet juice

Directions

  1. Drain beets and save juice. Mix the cornstarch with the beet juice. Add in vinegar, sugar and salt. Cook till thickened, stirring constantly. Add in the beets. When ready to serve, add in butter to warm beets.
