Ingredients

  • 2 Tbsp. chili pwdr
  • 2 tsp grnd cumin
  • 2 tsp garlic pwdr
  • 1/2 tsp dry oregano
  • 1/2 tsp dry thyme
  • 1 1/2 lb flank steak - (to 2) Pineapple Salsa (see recipe)

Directions

  1. Preheat the grill to high heat. In a small bowl, combine all the ingredients except the steak; mix well. Rub the seasoning mix all over the steak.
  2. Grill the steak for 6 to 8 min per side for medium, or possibly till desired doneness.
  3. Cut the steak across the grain into thin slices and serve with Pineapple Salsa for a refreshing zest.
  4. This recipe yields 4 servings.
