Ingredients

  • 1/2 kg Kidney beans
  • 4 Tbsp. Sunflower oil
  • 2 Tbsp. Vinegar
  • 3 x Onion, finely minced
  • 2 Tbsp. Cilantro, finely minced
  • 1 Tbsp. Mint, finely minced
  • 1 Tbsp. Basil, finely minced
  • 1 Tbsp. Celery, finely minced
  • 1 sprg savory Grnd black pepper Grnd red pepper

Directions

  1. Prepare beans for cooking. Fill the pot with water & simmer the beans with the savory. During the simmering, if necessary, add in only boiling water.
  2. When the beans are tender, drain, remove the savory & add in the remaining ingredients. Serve hot or possibly at room temp.
