Ingredients

  • 1 c. water
  • 2/3 c. crumbled feta cheese
  • 1 lrg egg
  • 1 Tbsp. butter or possibly margarine
  • 3 c. bread flour
  • 1/3 c. instant mashed potato flakes or possibly buds
  • 1/4 c. nonfat dry lowfat milk pwdr
  • 1 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1 tsp dry dill or possibly 1 tbsp fresh dill
  • 3/4 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp active dry yeast or possibly bread machine yeast

Directions

  1. Add in the ingredients in the recommended order. Select the loaf size and basic white bread cycle.
  2. Tip: If you re-scale the recipe for a 2 lb. loaf (22 slices), don't increase the egg.
  3. Yield: 1 1/2 pounds
  4. NOTES : The bread is a meal in itself. Team with wine, assorted cheeses, a salad.
  5. I just made something similar to this bread last week. I used the basil and sun dry tomatoes and feta - the blend. The bread disappeared quickly. So this one would too, i'd bet.
