Ingredients

  • 2 3/4 c. All-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Sugar
  • 1 pkt Fast acting yeast
  • 1 1/4 c. Warm water
  • 1 Tbsp. Extra virgin olive oil

Directions

  1. Combine 3/4 c. of flour, salt, sugar, water and extra virgin olive oil in the food processor and process for 15 seconds.
  2. Add in another c. of flour and combine for 15 seconds.
  3. Add in a third addition of flour (1 c.) and combine in food processor till it forms a ball. You may need a little more flour at this point if it is too sticky.
  4. Remove from food processor and knead dough till smooth and elastic. Add in more flour if necessary.
  5. Put dough in lightly oiled bowl. Coat dough with oil. Cover bowl withplastic wrap and let rise in a hot area for 15 min.
  6. Punch dough down.
  7. This recipe makes sufficient dough for two smaller pizzas or possibly one large. My pizza pans just fits inside my oven.
  8. Roll out dough. Brush with extra virgin olive oil and minced garlic mix. Top with favorite ingredients. Bake for 10 to 15 min in a 500 oven.
