Ingredients

  • 4 c. Matzo farfel, or possibly 6 matzos,broken
  • 1/3 c. Margarine, or possibly less
  • 1/2 c. Onion, chopped
  • 1/2 c. Celery, chopped
  • 1 x Carrot, grated
  • 1/4 tsp Salt
  • 1/8 tsp Pepper
  • 1 tsp Paprika
  • 2 tsp Chicken soup pwdr
  • 1 x Egg, beaten
  • 1 1/2 c. Warm water
  • 1 c. Nuts, coarsely minced

Directions

  1. Saute/fry veggies in margarine until tender. Add in farfel and toast lightly.
  2. Combine seasonings, soup mix and water and add in. Add in nuts. Form into c., using a 1/3 c. measure. Place on a greased baking sheet.
  3. Bake about 20 minutes. at 375F.
