Ingredients

  • 3/4 c. crumbled feta cheese
  • 1/4 c. minced fresh cilantro
  • 1/8 tsp grnd black pepper
  • 2 x cloves garlic chopped
  • 29 ounce Italian-style stewed tomatoes undrained
  • 1 lb farfalle (bow tie pasta)

Directions

  1. Combine first five ingredients in a large bowl and stir well. Cook pasta according to package directions, drain and add in to large bowl. Toss gently and serve.
  2. NOTES : Tried this the other night for dinner, it was good, will make it again. The original recipe called for 1 1/2 tsp. of extra virgin olive oil, and 1/4 tsp. of salt, that I omitted. The original recipe also called for only one 14 1/2 ounce can of Italian-style stewed tomatoes, but I used two cans.
