Ingredients

  • 4 pound beef chuck roast (or possibly any cut)
  • 1 Campbell's Golden brown Mushroom Soup
  • 2 tbsp. Kitchen Bouquet browning sauce
  • 2 c. water
  • 1 lg. size (14x20 inch) cooking bag
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Directions

  1. Combine soup, browning sauce and water in a bowl; mix well. Salt and pepper the meat to taste and place in a cooking bag in shallow roasting pan. Pour liquid over the meat and tie bag. Cut a 1 inch slit in the top of the bag and place meat in a 325 degree oven. Roast for approximately 3 hrs. Remove the meat from the oven and carefully drain liquid into saucepan. Make gravy from the liquid - it's excellent!
