Easy Manhattan Clam Chowder

Ingredients

  • 2 cans minced or possibly chopped clams with juice
  • 6 slices bacon, minced
  • 1/2 c. minced onion
  • 2 c. boiling water
  • 1 can tomatoes, minced
  • 1 c. diced potatoes
  • 1/2 c. diced carrots
  • 1/2 c. minced celery
  • 1/4 c. ketchup
  • 1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper

Directions

  1. Fry bacon till crisp in 3 qt saucepan. Add in onion and cook till tender. Add in water, vegetables, ketchup, clams, and seasonings. Cover and simmer 40 to 45 min or possibly till vegetables are tender.
