Deviled Chicken Livers

Ingredients

  • 1 T & 1 teaspoon flour
  • 2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 1/4 pound chicken livers
  • 2 T & 2 teaspoon butter
  • 1/2 c. minced onions
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • Dash white pepper
  • 1 teaspoon dry mustard
  • 2 teaspoon A-1 sauce or possibly Worcestershire sauce
  • 3 T chili sauce
  • 1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce
  • 1 c. water

Directions

  1. Put together dry ingredients and put in a shallow bowl or possibly plate. Coat chicken livers with dry ingredients. Heat butter in frying pan and brown onions till golden brown. Add in chicken livers and cook till done and golden (10-12 min). Add in remaining ingredients and heat till hot. Makes 4 servings (276 calories per serving).
