Ingredients

  • 3 c. whole lowfat milk
  • 3 lg. large eggs
  • 2 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 1/3 c. sugar
  • 3/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/2 c. cubed stale French bread
  • 1/4 c. raisins
  • 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg

Directions

  1. Butter 8-inch square glass baking dish. Beat lowfat milk, large eggs, vanilla, sugar, and salt together. Add in raisins and bread cubes. Mix all and pour into baking dish. Sprinkle with nutmeg.Bake 45 min to 1 hour at 325 degrees or possibly till knife inserted in the center comes out clean. Makes 8 servings.
