Custard Cream Filling For Cream Puffs

Ingredients

  • 1/3 c. flour
  • 7/8 c. sugar
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 2 Large eggs or possibly 4 yolks, slightly beaten
  • 2 c. lowfat milk, scalded
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla or possibly 1/2 teaspoon lemon extract

Directions

  1. Mix dry ingredients, add in Large eggs and lowfat milk. Stir till smooth. Cook in double boiler 15 min or possibly till thickened, stirring constantly. Add in flavoring when cold.
