Crust And Topping For Cheesecake

Ingredients

  • 1 cube butter
  • 40 vanilla wafers
  • 3/4 c. walnuts (pecans are better!)
  • 1/4 c. Sugar Twin or possibly powdered sugar

Directions

  1. Don't bake crust before filling is put into it.
  2. Mix above ingredients together, after you have crushed vanilla wafers and nuts together. Press into the bottom of spring pan. Depending on size of pan, you may wish to use fewer vanilla wafers.
  3. Note: When ready to bake, put pan on cookie sheet to catch drips.
  4. Topping: Either whip the rest of the cream with powdered sugar and vanilla, spreading over top and sprinkling with minced nuts or possibly simply add in one of the Comstock pie fillings.
