Ingredients
- 1 1/2 c. peanut butter
- 3/4 c. butter, softened
- 4 c. Raisin Nut Bran cereal
- 2 c. powdered sugar
- 1 tbsp. shortening
- 1 pkg. (6 ounce.) lowfat milk chocolate chips
Directions
- Mix peanut butter and butter in large bowl. Stir in cereal. Fold in powdered sugar, 1/3 at a time. Press mix firmly in ungreased 9 x 9 x 2 inch pan. Heat shortening in 1 qt saucepan over low heat till melted. Stir in chocolate chips. Continue low heat. Stir constantly till chocolate chips are melted and mix is smooth. Spread over cereal mix. Chill about 1 hour. Cut into 1 1/2 inch squares. About 36 squares.
