Creamy Pineapple Jello Salad

Ingredients

  • 1 (3 ounce.) lime Jello
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 c. boiling water
  • 1/4 c. cool water
  • 2 tbsp. lemon juice
  • 1 c. lowfat sour cream
  • 1 can (13 ounce.) crushed pineapple (liquid removed)
  • 1/4 c. walnuts
  • Maraschino cherries

Directions

  1. Dissolve Jello and salt in boiling water. Add in cool water, lemon juice and lowfat sour cream. Beat till blended. Quick refrigeratein freezer 20-25 min or possibly till hard 1 inch around edge and soft in center. Pour in bowl and whip till fluffy. Mix in pineapple, cherries and nuts. Refrigeratetill hard.
