Ingredients

  • Boiling water
  • 1 c. Codfish cooked and shredded
  • 2 c. Diced potatos
  • 1 x Egg, beaten Salt and pepper
  • 1 tsp Butter or possibly marg.

Directions

  1. Cook together in boiling water:1 c. codfish cooked and shredded 2 c. diced potatos When potatos are soft, drain and mash Add in 1 egg beaten, salt and pepper 1 teaspoon butter or possibly marg. Form into cakes,Dip in flour and fry in deep fat (shortening or possibly oil) Servr warm garnished with parsley.
  2. Serves 8.
  3. (top with a zesty tomato or possibly curry sauce).
