.%20%20Set%20the%20popcorn%20aside%20and%20make%20your%20syrup.Combine%20half%20and%20half,sugar,%20corn%20syrup,%20and%20salt%20in%20a%20heavy%20bottom%20saucepan.%20%20Bring%20to%20a%20slow%20boil%20over%20medium%20heat%20and%20cook%20until%20soft%20ball%20stage.%20%20I%20use%20a%20candy%20thermometer%20for%20this%20however%20you%20can%20do%20the%20water%20test%20by%20drizzling%20some%20of%20the%20syrup%20into%20a%20small%20amount%20of%20cold%20water%20and%20if%20it%20will%20form%20a%20soft%20ball%20you%20are%20good%20to%20go.%20%20I%20personally%20like%20the%20candy%20thermometer%20since%20its%20easier%20to%20get%20it%20right.Once%20your%20syrup%20reaches%20the%20soft%20ball%20stage,%20immediately%20remove%20from%20the%20heat.%20%20Add%20your%20vanilla%20and%20the%20entire%20contents%20of%20the%20flavoring%20packet.%20%20%20I%20then%20used%20a%20hand%20whisk%20to%20whisk%20the%20powdered%20flavoring%20in%20well.%20Pour%20hot%20syrup%20over%20popcorn%20and%20mix%20well.%20%20Turn%20out%20onto%20large%20cookie%20sheet%20lined%20with%20aluminum%20foil%20and%20let%20cool%20until%20it%20hardens.Store%20in%20airtight%20container-ziploc%20bags%20work%20perfectly!Note:%20%20If%20you%20find%20your%20popcorn%20is%20too%20sticky,%20it%20is%20likely%20you%20did%20not%20cook%20the%20syrup%20long%20enough.%20%20Don't%20worry!%20%20You%20can%20still%20save%20the%20recipe.%20%20Just%20pop%20the%20cookie%20sheet%20into%20a%20300%20degree%20oven%20and%20bake%20for%20another%205-10%20minutes%20stirring%20often.%20%20If%20you%20see%20the%20syrup%20start%20to%20bubble%20on%20the%20popcorn%20when%20in%20the%20oven,%20take%20it%20out%20immediately%20otherwise%20it%20can%20burn.%20%20Good%20luck%20and%20enjoy!Prep%20and%20cook%20time%20are%20approximate.%20%20Please%20use%20candy%20thermometer%20for%20your%20syrup%20or%20have%20experience%20with%20gauging%20the%20soft%20ball%20stage%20with%20the%20water%20test.%20%20Do%20not%20use%20the%20cook%20time%20listed%20below%20as%20a%20definite.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EDetails%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EPrep%20time:%2005%20minsCook%20time:%2010%20minsTotal%20time:%2015%20minsYield:%2012%20cups%20popcorn%3C/p%3E){kind=link}
