Chicken Stuffed Peppers

Ingredients

  • 6 med. sized green peppers
  • 2 c. water
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 pkg. chicken gravy mix
  • 1 c. whole kernel corn
  • 2 c. diced cooked chicken
  • Dash of pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon poultry seasoning
  • 1/4 c. buttered bread crumbs
  • Paprika

Directions

  1. Cut tops from peppers, remove seeds and membranes and wash inside and out. Place peppers, one c. water and salt in saucepan; cover and cook about 8 min; drain well.
  2. Add in remaining c. water to sauce mix and bring to boiling; add in corn, chicken, pepper and poultry seasoning. Pile mix loosely into peppers; sprinkle with crumbs and paprika.
  3. Place in shall baking dish; add in water to cover bottom of dish and bake at 350 degrees for about 20 min. Serves 6.
