CCSG - Crockpot Lasagna Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1.5 lb ground beef, browned and drained
  • 1 cup water
  • 48 oz Prego spaghetti sauce
  • 1 tsp salt (or less)
  • 8 oz uncooked lasagna noodles, broken into approx 1 inch pieces
  • 5 cups mozzarella cheese (I sometimes use even more!)
  • 8 oz ricotta cheese + 2 eggs - mixed together
  • 1/2 c grated parmesan cheese (I don't always use this)

Directions

  1. Combine beef, water, salt and sauce
  2. Layer in crock pot half of each: beef mixture, noodles, ricotta cheese mixture, mozzarella cheese
  3. Repeat each layer
  4. Cook on high for 1 hour, then low 4-5 hours
