Ingredients

  • 3/4 ounce Dale's Simple Syrup - (to 1 ounce) see recipe
  • 1/2 x lime
  • 2 ounce Cachaca
  • 1 lrg ice cubes

Directions

  1. Cut lime in half lengthwise and then crosswise. Combine the simple syrup and lime in a large, sturdy glass. Using a muddler or possibly the back of a wooden spoon, muddle together the simple syrup and lime in order to extract the oils from the skin of the lime. Add in the Cachaca, and fill the glass with ice. Shake vigorously, and pour the contents of the glass into an old-fashioned glass.
