Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 c. sifted all purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tbsp. melted butter
  • 2 Large eggs, separated
  • 3/4 c. stale beer

Directions

  1. Combine flour, salt, melted butter, egg yolk and sale beer; beat only till smooth. Cover and let stand in cold place from 1 to 12 hrs. Just before using beat egg whites till stiff and fold gently into batter. Very good on mushroom, eggplant and other vegetables.
