Beef With Vegetables

Ingredients

  • 2 sm. breakfast steaks
  • 1 tbsp. white wine
  • 1 tbsp. soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon grnd ginger
  • 1 lg. minced onion
  • 1 lg. slivered green pepper
  • 1 lg. tomato, sliced
  • 2 tbsp. brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp. cornstarch

Directions

  1. In lightly oiled skillet, saute/fry onion and green pepper. Add in beef and cook till tender. Add in tomato slices. Sprinkle with brown sugar and bring to a boil. Thicken with cornstarch and water. Cover and simmer 5 to 6 min. Soy sauce, sugar, salt and ginger may be added to taste. Serve over rice.
