Beef With Tomato & Peppers

Ingredients

  • 1 pound tender beef
  • 3 med. hard tomatoes
  • 2 med. green bell peppers
  • 1 lg. onion
  • 1 teaspoon Hawaiian salt (Kosher-rock salt, regular table salt O.K. too, but not as tasty)
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 tbsp. soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch

Directions

  1. Cut beef into small thin slices. Mix with 1 tsp. cornstarch and 1 Tbsp. soy sauce. Wash and seed peppers. Cut vegetables into wedges. Parboil peppers 2 min in boiling water. Heat oil in pan. Brown garlic, add in salt. Add in beef and fry for 3 min. Add in sauce and cook till thickened, stirring constantly. Add in tomatoes, cook till heated through.
