Ingredients

  • 1 lb flank steaks, cut in 3" thin strip
  • 3 Tbsp. corn oil
  • 3 Tbsp. soy sauce
  • 2 tsp cornstarch
  • 1 1/2 tsp sugar
  • 1 x clove garlic
  • 4 slc fresh ginger

Directions

  1. Marinate sliced steak in 1 tsp. cornstarch, 1 Tbsp. oil, 1 Tbsp. soy sauce, 1/2 tsp. sugar and 4 slsices fresh ginger for 30 min.
  2. Make a paste with 1 tsp. corn staarch, 2 Tbsp. soy sauce, 1 tsp. sugar and 1/2 c. water.
  3. Over high flame brown garlic in 2 Tbsp. oil, throw away garlic. Add in beef and fry for a few min. add in green pepper, clelery, green onion, water chestnuts and sliced bamboo and fry a few more min, than add in pea pods and cook 1 minute, then add in paste mix, drain and serve.
