Ingredients

  • 1 c. Butter, softened
  • 2 c. Sugar
  • 5 lrg Large eggs
  • 3 c. All-purpose flour, sifted
  • 1 Tbsp. Baking pwdr
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1 1/4 c. Lowfat milk
  • 1 tsp Vanilla

Directions

  1. Let Large eggs, lowfat milk, and butter stand until room temperature. Cream butter, gradually add in sugar, beating well. Add in Large eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Combine flour, baking pwdr, and salt, add in to creamed mix alternately with lowfat milk, beginning and ending with flour mix.
  2. Stir in vanilla. Pour batter into 2 greased and floured 9-inch round cake pans or possibly 13x9 inch cake pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 min or possibly till wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean. Cold in pans 10 min; remove layers from pans and cold completely before frosting.
