%20but%20I%20did%20manage%20to%20do%20a%20ton%20of%20creating.%20%20I%20feel%20like%20I%E2%80%99ve%20spent%20the%20whole%20day%20mixing%20and%20stirring,%20and%20that%E2%80%99s%20a%20fabulous%20feeling!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EFirst%20I%20whipped%20up%20a%20batch%20of%20natural%20spider%20repellant.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EIt%E2%80%99s%20h2o%20and%20lemon%20essential%20oil%20combined%20in%20an%20old%20spray%20bottle.%20%20I%20went%20spritz-crazy%20all%20over%20the%20house.%20%20I%E2%80%99ll%20let%20you%20know%20if%20it%20actually%20does%20any%20repelling.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ENext%20I%20cooked%20up%20a%20batch%20of%20Maple%20Coconut%20Granola.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20used%20Kath%E2%80%99s%20recipe%20but%20substituted%20unsweetened%20shredded%20coconut%20for%20pecans.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThen%20I%20tried%20my%20first%20smoothie%20in%20a%20bowl!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EFirst%20I%20put%20a%20Siggi%E2%80%99s%20Vanilla%20in%20the%20bottom%20of%20my%20bowl.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ENext%20came%20my%20smoothie.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20mixed%201cup%20frozen%20strawberries,%20a%20packet%20of%20Chocolate%20Infusion%20Amazing%20Meal,%20and%20water.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThis%20was%20my%20first%20smoothie%20using%20water%20as%20the%20liquid%20and%20I%20still%20adored%20the%20Chocolate%20Amazing%20Meal!%20%20It%20wasn%E2%80%99t%20too%20grassy%20or%20too%20sweet%20but%20it%20totally%20helped%20to%20fill%20me%20up.%20%20No%20weird%20graininess%20either.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EFinally%20I%20topped%20my%20SIAB%20with%201/4%20cup%20of%20my%20new%20granola.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EDelectable!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20think%20smoothies%20via%20spoon%20instead%20of%20straw%20will%20definitely%20be%20the%20new%20thing%20in%20this%20house.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20may%20not%20have%20done%20any%20exercise,%20but%20my%20blender%20sure%20got%20a%20workout!%20%20Next%20it%20had%20to%20tackle%20hummus.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20don%E2%80%99t%20have%20exact%20measurements,%20but%20I%20blended%20up%20chick%20peas,%20evoo,%20balsamic%20vinegar,%20salt,%20and%20water.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20wanted%20fresh%20hummus%20for%20lunch,%20but%20I%20also%20wanted%20%E2%80%A6%20purple?%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20ended%20up%20creating%20a%20pretty%20plate.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Eand%20some%20pita%20pieces;%20a%20take-home%20from%20dinner%20with%20my%20parents%20the%20other%20day.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ELunch%20was%20good,%20but%20nothing%20could%20top%20my%20afternoon%20snack.%20%20I%E2%80%99ll%20give%20you%20a%20hint%E2%80%A6%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20cobbled%20together%20a%20couple%20recipes%20and%20my%20memories%20of%20Oko%20in%20Brooklyn%20to%20create%20Honey%20Greek%20Frozen%20Yogurt.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20didn%E2%80%99t%20have%20any%20fresh%20fruit%20(the%20horror)%20but%20enjoyed%20this%20bowl%20sans%20toppings%20just%20fine!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EDinner%20was%20also%20a%20winner,%20and%20I%E2%80%99d%20say%20that%20even%20if%20it%20didn%E2%80%99t%20rhyme.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ESoon%20I%E2%80%99ve%20got%20to%20head%20to%20the%20airport%20to%20pick%20up%20my%20friend%20Camile!%20%20She%E2%80%99s%20flying%20in%20today%20and%20then%20tomorrow%20we%20are%20driving%20to%20NYC%20for%20BlogHer.%20%20So%20excited!%20%20The%20only%20sad%20this%20is%20that%20our%20friend%20Kristen%20was%20supposed%20to%20be%20meeting%20us%20in%20Buffalo%20on%20Sunday%20but%20due%20to%20some%20personal%20issues%20her%20trip%20got%20canceled.%20%20I%E2%80%99m%20feeling%20a%20bit%20down%20about%20the%20breakdown%20of%20our%20trio%20visit,%20so%20indulge%20me%20in%20a%20little%20reminiscing?%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EOur%20senior%20year%20in%20college%20-%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EMy%202007%20visit%20to%20Miami%20-%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ETheir%202007%20visit%20to%20NYC%20-%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EMy%202008%20visit%20to%20Miami%20-%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ETheir%202008%20visit%20to%20NYC%20-%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ETheir%20visit%20to%20STT%20-%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EMy%20most%20recent%20visit%20to%20Orlando%20-%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EDo%20you%20keep%20in%20touch%20with%20any%20of%20your%20college%20friends?%3C/p%3E){kind=link}
