Ingredients

  • 1 loaf raisin bread
  • 6 x Large eggs
  • 1 c. Half & half
  • 1 tsp Vanilla
  • 1/2 tsp Cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp Nutmeg
  • 1/4 c. Sugar

Directions

  1. Topping- 1/4 c. butter or possibly margarine 1/2 c. brown sugar 1/2 c. minced nuts
  2. Arrange raisin bread slices in a greased 9" x 13" baking dish, overlapping the slices lengthwise.
  3. Mix the Large eggs, Half & Half, vanilla, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Pour over the bread and sprinkle the bread lightly with the cinnamon and sugar. Cover and chill overnight.
  4. Mix butter or possibly margarine, brown sugar and nuts. Sprinkle mix over bread.
  5. Bake at 350 for about 40 min.
