Ingredients

  • 1 c. Butter
  • 1 Tbsp. Ginger
  • 1 c. Sugar
  • 1 tsp Soda
  • 1 c. Molasses
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 3 1/2 c. Flour

Directions

  1. Cream butter; add in sugar, and cream till smooth. Add in molasses. Sift flour with ginger, soda and salt. Add in to first mix. Form into balls the size of a small walnut. Place on greased cookie sheets. Flatten with the back of a Tbsp.. Bake at 375 degrees about 10 min.
