Alaska Halibut With A Green Chili Blanket

Ingredients

  • 1 sht Reynolds Wrap heavy duty
  • aluminum foil - (12" by 18")
  • 1/2 c. mayonnaise or possibly low fat plain yogurt
  • 1/2 c. canned green chili salsa - (4 ounce)
  • 1 Tbsp. fresh lime juice
  • 1 Tbsp. minced fresh cilantro or possibly chives
  • 4 x halibut steaks - (4 to 6 ounce ea)

Directions

  1. Combine mayonnaise, green chili salsa and lime juice, set aside.
  2. Place halibut steaks on foil sheet on medium-warm grill. Cook for 5 min, then turn steaks over. Liberally brush or possibly spoon mayonnaise mix on cooked side. Sprinkle with cilantro.
  3. Continue cooking 5 - 10 min more, till fish flakes easily when tested with a fork. Don't overcook.
  4. This recipe yields 4 servings.
